Interactive Session

Legal literacy should not come after a business problem arises. It should be part of building the business from day one.

Today, our Partner, Laith Nabulsi , delivered an interactive session on “Legal and Business Formalization” as part of the HEYA Programme, held at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).

The session brought together participating startups for an engaging discussion on the legal foundations every entrepreneur should understand when building and growing a business, with particular focus on:

• Choosing the appropriate legal structure and understanding the differences between sole proprietorships and Limited Liability Companies (LLCs)

• The importance of properly drafted contracts and agreements

• Establishing clear legal relationships between founders, businesses, clients, and other stakeholders

• Understanding how early legal decisions can affect a startup’s growth, risk exposure, and future opportunities

What made the session particularly valuable was the level of interaction from the participating startups. Their questions and real business scenarios turned the discussion into a practical exchange on how legal considerations directly affect everyday business decisions.

At Esquire – Obeidat & Nabulsi Law Firm, we believe that strengthening legal awareness among entrepreneurs is an essential part of building stronger, more sustainable and investment-ready businesses.

We are pleased to contribute to initiatives that equip founders with the knowledge they need to turn promising ideas into properly structured and scalable businesses.
